Narrative

  • Adult Foster Care (AFC) provides clinical and financial help to qualifying families and caregivers. AFC helps them to keep their loved ones at home and out of residential programs. Eligible people must be at least 16 years of age, receive MassHealth Insurance. They need daily help with walking, bathing, dressing, toileting, eating or transferring. Caregivers of people who are accepted into this program receive payment determined by the person's level of need.
