Narrative

The Adult Foster Care is a MASS HEALTH State-funded program that transforms lives. This is a service provided at no cost to members of MassHealth. The services allow for seniors and people with disabilities (PwD) who need help with personal care tasks to remain in their home and in the community with a qualified and approved caregiver.

The Healthier You Adult Foster Care (HY- AFC) Program provides valuable caring help to adults 16 years and older. People, because of illness, weakness, disability, or advanced age, cannot live safely at home alone. This program is designed for those who do not require constant 24-hour monitoring. They need much daily assistance.
