Narrative

Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, the original Salter Healthcare location, has 140 beds and is a dynamic facility that has responded to health care reform head-on. Innovative changes in response to consumer and industry demands are a hallmark of the Woburn Nursing Center, which was the first Joint Commission accredited post acute unit in Massachusetts and 5th in the nation.

Our Respite Care services give primary caregivers and families  short-term relief from the responsibility of the daily care of their elderly or disabled loved one.

We offer one to three weeks of respite care at each of our three health care center locations:

• 24-hour supervision
• Skilled Nursing Care
• Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapy
• Professional Nursing Care
• Assistance with daily living
• Nutritious meals
• Recreational/social activities
